Visual Novel ‘Aokana: Four Rhythms Across the Blue’ Reveals Western Switch Port Stretch Goal
NekoNyan revealed that the Kickstarter campaign for the Sprite developed adventure visual novel Aokana: Four Rhythms Across the Blue has reached several stretch goals for the game’s western release.
After passing four stretch goals for the campaign already and closing in on the fifth, the publisher revealed plans for a western Nintendo Switch release at 80,000€ (about $90,300 USD). The port will be identical to the Japanese version of the game and will include both English and Chinese language options. If the goal is met, the team is confident that they’ll have the port ready for release by Q1 2020.
Additionally, the Switch version of the game contains a Music Galler Mode where you can replay BGM tracks from the game, a Sprite Viewer, which allows players to create scenes with best girl, and a Voice Line bookmark, where players can store their favorite voiced lines. There’s also some quality of life features such as a chapter skip function.
Aokana: Four Rhythms Across the Bluee tells the story of a world where people have the ability to fly through the air using special shoes. Also, a popular sport known as Flying Circus is currently all the rage. The story follows Masaya Hinata who was once a prodigy who turned his back on the sport after suffering a defeat although there is another reason. During the story, his passion ends up being reignited after he finds himself teaching a transfer student, Asuka Kurashina, how to fly.
