Visual Novel ‘Aokana: Four Rhythms Across the Blue’ Gets PC Release Date Set for Later This Month

NekoNyan announced that the Sprite developed adventure visual novel Aokana: Four Rhythms Across the Bluecoming to PC-via Steam, NekoNyan store, Denpasoft, Fakku, JAST, Mangagamer, Nutakuon on September 27 for $34.99, and Nintendo Switch in 2020.

Additionally, the publisher has revealed that they are also releasing the Perfect Edition in the west, which includes additional scenes with Misaki. This was done at a high cost to the publisher and to offset they have released the extra content as add-on DLC for those that want them.

Aokana: Four Rhythms Across the Blue tells the story of a world where people have the ability to fly through the air using special shoes. Also, a popular sport known as Flying Circus is currently all the rage.

The story follows Masaya Hinata who was once a prodigy who turned his back on the sport after suffering a defeat although there is another reason. During the story, his passion ends up being reignited after he finds himself teaching a transfer student, Asuka Kurashina, how to fly.

The Steam version of the game will have a free patch available to those who wish to play the game with the adult content, but that version of the game alone is all ages.

Aokana EXTRA1 was also confirmed for a western release.
