Aokana EXTRA2 Gets December Release Date; Steam Page Now Open for Wishlisting

Publisher NekoNyan has opened the Steam page for Aokana EXTRA2 and revealed the game’s release date. The second fandisk to Aokana: Four Rhythms Across the Blue focuses on the afterstory for Misaki Tobisawa and it will be available in English on December 15, 2022. Eager players can now add the visual novel to their wishlist to make sure they won’t miss out on the upcoming launch.

Aokana, also known as Ao no Kanata no Four Rhythm, is a visual novel about a group of girls who play a unique sport known as Flying Circus. In a world where anti-gravitational tech has become commonplace, soaring through the sky has also given birth to this competition.

The player assumes the role of Masaya Hinata, a schoolmate of these girls who ends up taking the mantle of their coach. As someone who gave up on playing Flying Circus due to his personal circumstances, he sees himself going back to the place he belonged, now from another angle.

While the original Aokana game features routes for four girls, two of them were picked by the Japanese players to receive fandisks. While EXTRA1 featured Mashiro, EXTRA2 will allow fans to get more time with Misaki to see how she and Masaya fare after the events of her route, which was the darkest story of the original game.
