Visual Novel ‘Aokana: Four Rhythms Across the Blue’ Shares 1440p Screenshots
NekoNyan released screenshots for the Sprite developed adventure visual novel Aokana: Four Rhythms Across the Blue, coming to PC-via Steam in 2019, and Nintendo Switch in 2020.
The publisher released an update on the project to let fans know that Valve has approved the game’s submission to Steam. Currently, the game is undergoing QA along with the programmer implementing the additional features gained through stretch goals, including the sprite viewer and music gallery player.
The team has also released preview CGs of the game’s upscaled high-res CG. However, there is 13GB of CGs alone so now the process of compressing them begins.
Aokana: Four Rhythms Across the Blue tells the story of a world where people have the ability to fly through the air using special shoes. Also, a popular sport known as Flying Circus is currently all the rage. The story follows Masaya Hinata who was once a prodigy who turned his back on the sport after suffering a defeat although there is another reason. During the story, his passion ends up being reignited after he finds himself teaching a transfer student, Asuka Kurashina, how to fly.
Aokana EXTRA1 was also confirmed for a western release.
