Anthem Gets Live-Action Video From Robocop Returns Director Neill Blomkamp

EA launched a live-action short-film from director Neill Blomkamp for the upcoming Bioware developed RPG Anthem.

The short aims to show players the world of Anthem through an immersive live-action experience. Although it’s not gameplay, the director does try to replicate the game’s environment s and overall feel of the game.

Anthem allows players to explore a world with their friends as they take on a compelling single-player story campaign. Players will be able to customize their very own mech-like suit known as a Javelin to which they can traverse the world and take on powerful enemies.

Also, the developers have laid out their plans to support the game post-launch with new events known as Acts, features, and quality of life content so the game will evolve with the players.

In case you missed it, check out part 1 and part 2  of the video series “This is Anthem” along with our hands-on preview coverage of the game.

Anthem is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on February 22, with early access launching on February 15.

Author’s take: I understand these types of trailers, but I feel like I enjoy the gameplay trailers a little more.
