Anre Revealed as the Next DLC Fighter for Granblue Fantasy: Versus

XSEED Games has announced that Anre will be joining the cast of fighters in Granblue Fantasy: Versus. Anre is the fourth fighter of the six-character pack of Character Pass 2.

Purchasing this character grants players not just the character himself but also a lobby avatar, character icon, and additional RPG mode quests. This character can be individually purchased for $6.99 or be obtained via the Character Pass 2 pack for $34.99.

Anre is the only sage of the Eternals and tries his absolute hardest to maintain the balance of peace globally, alongside his ultimate goal of ridding the world of sadness. While he does dislike combat, he is a menace with a spear, with his short stature only adding to the weapon’s deadly nature.

Granblue Fantasy: Versus is a 2D fighter with characters representing the Granblue IP fighting it out across various stages. The game allows players to fight through moments of an original story where all the characters have lost their memories and must regain them by, well, fighting. Each character has their own unique skills and can exhaust abilities periodically in a fight. There is also a versus mode and items to unlock through gameplay.
