WFS has released a teaser image for an upcoming collaboration between their RPG, Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space, and the Square Enix-developed Chrono Cross.
On December 4 at 1 am PT the developer will host a special live stream on their YouTube channel. During the event, viewers will learn more about the collaboration and the characters that will cross over into the game.
The English website shares information about the event, writing:
The beginning, since lost to oblivion…
A memory now nothing but a faded echo.
Time stopped for me then.
A soul with no place, I became a petal on the wind.
Until suddenly, a clock long since broken
carefully and quietly began to move…
And with it, something started anew in you.
Our future, our tomorrow…
By familiar voices from beyond the dark…
Another Eden follows Aldo, an unassuming boy from a small village, who tumbles 800 years into the future; he discovers a plot to end the world, interwoven through several time periods. Explore a vast, vibrant fantasy world across three different eras. During gameplay, players will recruit allies among over 100 playable party members. It’s possible to master nostalgic turn-based combat with combo attacks, magic chants, party buffs, and other powers.
The game is created by Masato Kato (Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy VII, Xenogears). with art direction from illustrator Takahito Exa (Bincho-tan) and live orchestrated soundtrack—including the main theme, composed by Yasunori Mitsuda (Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Xenogears).
Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space is available on Steam, and iOS and Android devices.
