Wright Flyer Studios has announced that its upcoming time-travel RPG Another Eden Begins will release a demo today at 8 AM PT/11 AM ET, with saved data transfer applying to the full game. The demo will contain the game’s first six chapters. A new trailer was also posted.
Another Eden Begins is a time-traveling RPG directed and written by Masato Kato, known for his work on classic RPGs. The game features a fully voiced main story, with a main theme composed by Yasunori Mitsuda and additional music by Procyon Studios.
The story follows Aldo and his younger sister, Feinne, who reside in the village of Baruoki until Feinne is abducted by the Beast King. Aldo is then thrown through a rift in spacetime during a battle and transported 800 years into the future.
Aldo meets 18 companions, each with their own backgrounds, abilities, and personal storylines. Players can learn more about these characters through encounter quests, character quests, and kinship quests.
Combat uses a command-based battle system. Players build teams of attackers, supporters, and healers, filling the Another Force gauge during combat. Activating Another Force temporarily halts enemy actions.
Once the main story is completed, New Game+ becomes available. This mode allows players to restart the adventure with their characters retaining their strength, while new story paths and decisions lead to more than 10 different endings. A new character guides Aldo into this second journey.
Another Eden Begins will be released for Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, and PC via Steam on September 17, 2026.
