Anonymous;Code 100% Walkthrough — All Endings
Anonymous;Code can be a fairly demanding game to see everything in, especially compared to previous Science Adventure entries. There are no route divergences, but you’ll reach several impasses that require the correct Hacking Trigger action to progress past.
Plus, there are trophies/achievements for reaching specific bad ends and getting every single one of them. This guide we wrote covers every single bad end throughout the title, letting you obtain every trophy/achievement if you’re playing on the PlayStation 4 or Steam version.
As a few preemptive notes, I ran through the game twice using this guide and got everything. However, there are a few Loads that may be unnecessary. I’m not entirely sure, so I left them in the guide just in case. I also used this Japanese guide and the guide by Node Gamers to verify the methods of reaching a few bad ends, primarily number 14. That one evaded me for a while, so immense thanks to them.
NOTE: I recommend making manual saves at the backend of rows to make future events cleaner to traverse. Also, while I tried my hardest to avoid saying any spoilers, there may be slight allusions to particular points.
You have to load from file 0 to begin.
A World-Changing Encounter trophy/achievement is obtained naturally.
When Pollon starts demanding the Load Screen (dialogue loops), press R2.
You’ll reach more looping dialogue later when in a dark room. Press R2 for the Hacking Trigger trophy/achievement.
When Pollon asks for the Load screen again, you can press R2, but I don’t think this actually does anything meaningful.
On 11/25, press R2 when the text says, “She did look better suited to city life, if that was what she meant. This outfit was way better than that pink costume, at least.” (This may just be for comedy and nothing substantial)
On 11/25, press R2 when Pollon says, “…You could’ve told me that earlier.” (This may just be for comedy and nothing substantial).
On 11/25, press R2 when Pollon says, “Shit, I don’t have that kinda cash…”
You’ll progress naturally from this point and obtain the trophy/achievement Welcome to Nakano Symphonies.
You’ll also get the bad end Conclusion No.2 for the trophies/achievements Failure and Wipeout.
Load an autosave that says “Yo, Pollon and Cross. This is Tabuchi Motors.”
Press R2 on the same line from above again, “Shit, I don’t have that kinda cash…” Then press R2 again when Cross says, “Maybe you shouldn’t have told him how much money you won. Not that you can do anything about it now…”
On 11/26, press R2 when the text says, “There’s never a good reason to mess with people’s lives like this, especially not so many at once!” The on-screen countdown will be at 40. This will lead to a bad end, Conclusion No. 1.
Load the autosave when Pollon said, “Sorry, stuff came up.”
Press R2 when the text says, “Well, he did say to get back to him, so he must’ve been down with my plan, right?” The countdown on-screen is at 37.
Pollon will eventually Load by himself, “I’ll need your power, so you better not take it before I’m done.” Then load the autosave that says what he just said. (Uncertain about the necessity of doing this, but just to do it to play it safe).
Press R2 when the text says, “I had to choose between switching my attention to the new hint or concentrating on opening the channel.” The countdown on-screen is at 33.
You’ll get the bad end Conclusion No.3.
Load the autosave where it says, “Looking for ways to open a new channel…” You’ll eventually get the bad ending Conclusion No. 4
Load the autosave where Nonoka says, “Firing system, all good!” Press R2 when Pollon says, “Yeah, I’m gonna start over and take care of this whole thing.” The countdown on-screen is 3.
Press R2 when the text says, “Weren’t we in a room just now? Wasn’t this an illusion? Why was I standing on tracks? Was this real? If it was, then I was about to…” It’s shown during a new CG shortly after the on-screen timer becomes 28.
You’ll get the bad ending Conclusion No. 5.
Load autosave saying, “I finished setting up the app and created a backdoor exclusive to Nakano Symphonies.”
You’ll eventually get the bad ending Conclusion No.6
Load the same autosave from last time. Press R2 when Pollon says, “Okay. We know what to do now.” The countdown on-screen is at 21.
You’ll eventually get the trophy/achievement A World-First Achievement.
Press R2 when the text says, “She was gonna hate me, but I had to tell her.” Momo will be standing in front of the ocean.
Press R2 when the text says, “Honestly, this was kinda frustrating. And I didn’t really know the specifics of her relationship with the police, either.” Liddie will be on screen.
On 12/14, Press R2 when Pollon says, “Is that the wrong one?” Nonoka will be on screen. You’ll get the PaoPaoPaoPa trophy/achievement (There seem to be two variations of this event depending on whether you’re on a timeline where Pollon won the minilotto. I think you get the trophy regardless of what Pollon does.)
You’ll naturally get the trophy/achievement A Stolen Face.
Press R2 when the text says, “So what was the right plan of action here?” You’ll get the bad end Conclusion No. 7 and the trophy Flashback.
Load an autosave from when chapter 5 began; I picked the same line of text we R2’d just now. You’ll naturally get the bad end, Conclusion No.8 here.
Load back the same autosave from before and press R2 when Pollon says, “Aight, where did he go?” You’ll eventually get the bad ending, Conclusion No.9.
Load the autosave that says, “I felt something was off the moment I stepped inside.”
Press R2 when the text says, “This was the toll Momo was talking about.” Thermal vision will be on.
You’ll eventually get the trophy/achievement Flames Extinguished.
On 12/25, press R2 when Pollon says, “Oh…I see…” (this may just be for comedy, but the scene here is pretty incredible.)
On 12/25 again, you can press R2 when Pollon says, “I hurriedly picked up the necklace Momo had dropped on the floor.”
You’ll eventually get the Merry Christmas trophy/achievement.
On 12/31, press R2 when the text says, “Even if we looked into it and found the cause, how much time would we have left? How many seconds would we have to use for each of them?”
You’ll eventually get the bad end Conclusion No.10, and the trophy/achievement Cracked!
Load the autosave that says, “I drank some 7cup to stop myself from getting pissed off.” You’ll eventually get the bad end Conclusion No.11.
Load the autosave that says, “After arriving at the Shinjuku Crater’s reconstruction site, I hid behind a bulldozer in preparation for my fight with Davide.”
Press R2 when the text says, “He smiled as he took the large cross in his hand.” You’ll eventually get the bad ending Conclusion No.12.
Load the autosave that says “Hnnh…Hahh…hghh…” Press R2 when the text says, “We had about 10 minutes left until the countdown ended.”
You’ll eventually get the trophy/achievement Cicada 3301’s Chosen.
On 1/7, press R2 when the text says, “He didn’t have to tell me that. I knew this was insanely risky.” You’ll get the bad end Conclusion No.13.
Load the autosave that says, “Ngh, damn, it’s cold…”
On 1/8, press R2 when Pollon says, “…Nh!” This will appear a good while later after Pollon has been in the following room at least once. Just keep an eye out for the text when you’re in the room pictured below. You will get the bad end Conclusion No.14. This is the easiest bad end to miss.
Load the autosave that says, “Tell me what you want, intruders.”
You will eventually get the trophy/achievement Collapsing Laws.
You will eventually get the bad end Conclusion No.15. Load autosave that says, “The breakwater was completely destroyed.” Press R2 when Pollon says, “Gh, damn it!”
You’ll get the bad end Conclusion No.16.
Load the most recent autosave that says, “That was why we had to use the Tokyo Harbor Tunnel.” Press R2 when Pollon exclaims, “WHOOAH!”
You’ll get the bad end Conclusion No.17. Load the autosave that says, “The chopper floated upwards.” Press R2 when Pollon says, “Shit…”
You’ll eventually get the trophy/achievement “Hackers are Wizards!”
Keep progressing for a bad end, Conclusion No.18.
Load the autosave that says, “The end was near.”
When Pollon says, “It’s like someone’s warning me…I have a bad feeling about this,” make a manual save anywhere you want.
Progress naturally, and you’ll eventually get the final bad end, Conclusion No.19, and with it, the trophy/achievement Failure After Failure.
Load the autosave that says, “Ahaha?!”
When Pollon says “Anon! Save!” overwrite the last manual save you made, the one Pollon previously loaded from.
You’ll eventually get the Normal end and the trophy/achievement Beyond the End.
Load the autosave that says “…”
Press R2 around when the ten-second countdown begins. You’ll get the trophy/achievement The Decision.
You’ll eventually reach a point where a countdown is present once again. Let it play out, and the screen will be a void with nothing going on. Load Pollon’s save slot from file 2 that was made on 11/24, saying, “I was on my graper, speeding down the empty Loop 7 road.”
You’ll get the trophy/achievement The Exemplary Solution to the Nakano Chase.
Load Pollon’s save slot from file 3 that was made on 11/26, saying “5!” You’ll get the trophy/achievement Pollon the Savior.
Load Pollon’s save slot from file 4 that was made on 12/25, saying, “Nakano Sunplaza’s viewing platform was covered in Christmassy AR decorations, and with so few people there, now was the ideal time to visit.”
You’ll get the A Second Christmas trophy.
Load Pollon’s save slot from file 5 that was made on 1/2, saying, “A windowless chapel with a low ceiling, about the size of a tennis court.” You’ll get the Felino’s End trophy/achievement.
Load Pollon’s save slot from file 6 that was made on 1/5, saying, “Deep below the Gai institution sat the Cradle.” You’ll get the Miori Soga’s Survival trophy/achievement.
Load Pollon’s save slot from file 7 that was made on 1/8, saying, “Thankfully, I hadn’t suffered a single flashback.” Eventually, the screen will go black, and all will cease. Choose the Life Game from the pause menu and pick any square, then the Play/Pause button for the Game of Life trophy/achievement.
Then, you’re gonna want to draw the AR symbol that you’ve always seen on Momo’s cheek. To be precise, the measurements are 2 squares down and 6 across, so do that in this shape.
You’ll get the Galaxy and Hacking into God trophies/achievements as you get the True Ending.
Check the Library in the main menu afterward for the remaining trophies/achievements.
