2000s Adventure Anime ‘Black Cat’ Suddenly Reveals Official Twitter Account

Recently, a new official Twitter account has opened for a classic 2000s anime, Black Cat. This series followed protagonist Train Heartnet, an assassin with the titular moniker who worked for an organization known as Chronos.

However, he eventually meets Saya Minatsuki, a kind-hearted and cheerful bounty hunter who drastically alters his perspective on life, causing Train to change professions. Such decisions don’t come with consequences, though, as Train finds himself confronting demons of his past life, threatening to cut his new life short irrevocably.

Gonzo produced this anime adaptation of the manga series, which premiered in 2005, releasing 23 episodes. In my younger years, Black Cat was one of my favorite anime, so the development of a sudden official Twitter account almost two decades later has me thrilled beyond belief. However, it has left me wondering what plans are in store. Perhaps a sequel of some sort is arriving in the near future?

I’d have to rewatch the anime since my memories are hazy, but I recall the ending leaving me pretty satisfied. The opening also used to be one of my favorites, and it has become a true product of its time, though not in a negative sense, more so for nostalgia.

I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on this new Black Cat Twitter account to see if any significant developments occur.
