AniCast Maker Launches DLC Featuring Atelier Ryza, SSSS.GRIDMAN, and Megu Shinonome
Avex Technologies launch the first round of DLC available for AniCast Maker, a tool that allows players to create shore anime in VR.
The DLC Asset Pack Set 1 is available now on Oculus Quests and Quest 2. It adds the assets to make videos containing content from Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout, SSSS.GRIDMAN, and Megu Shinonome. The DLC launches alongside its version 1.1.0 update.
However, there’s a slight catch in that the DLC asset packs can be rather pricey. Atelier Ryza has three characters available, Reisalin Stout, Klaudia Valenta, and Lila Decyrus, each costing $29.99 each (these comes with character models, props, background, and music/motion), with SSSS.Gridman’s Akane Shinjo and Alexis Kerib launch as props and backgrounds for $24.99. However, the Megu Shinonome asset pack is free.
AniCast Maker allows players to be the actor and/or the cameraman as they place props and backgrounds to build character scenes between characters. It’s a tool used to create full-motion 3D anime quality short videos and share them. The tool is available now on the Oculus Store for $29.99. However, some downsides are the time limit and the inability to import your own characters.
You can watch an anime created in the tool between Ryza and Klaudia below:
