aNCHOR has announced it will no longer publish Destiny Code, citing changes to its organizational structure. The bishoujo card battle RPG had previously released a trial version and appeared at several events throughout 2025.
The decision was made after a review of aNCHOR’s future business direction. The company stated that the cancellation is unrelated to the condition of the game itself or the work of developer and publisher Project.L.A. Instead, aNCHOR said it determined it could no longer continue publishing the title “in the most suitable manner.”
Development on Destiny Code is expected to continue under Project.L.A. The team will also handle future updates and release information. Existing Steam and Epic Games Store wishlists will remain intact, as the storefronts are being transferred directly to Project.L.A.
aNCHOR also confirmed that previously distributed campaign game keys are still expected to work once the game launches. Support for older promotional campaigns conducted before May 26, 2026, will continue through aNCHOR.
