Frictional Games Reveals Amnesia: Rebirth for PS4 and PC as if Sleeping Wasn’t Hard Enough Already

Frictional Games announced that they are working a new entry in the Amnesia series, Amnesia: Rebirth, in development for a fall 2020 release on PlayStation 4 and PC-via Steam.

Amnesia: Rebirth takes players through a new dark story set in the landscape of the Algerian desert. The story focuses on a new character named Tasi Trianon, who sets out on a journey to explore the limits of human resilience. Although, along the way, she will have to face devastation and despair.

Throughout the game, players will retrace Tasi’s journey and pull together the fragments of a past. This will be the only way that you can survive the terrors within this new narrative. Still, if that wasn’t enough, time is also against you and one wrong step could mean the end of this journey.

To celebrate the announcement, the developer released a new trailer showing gameplay. The game is played in the first persona as players explore a strange world, which borders on the supernatural. The trailer also gives players a look at some of the horrors that they’ll face in this adventure.

Amnesia: Rebirth is coming to PS4 and PC this fall. We’ll be sure to keep you updated on any new details.
