Alternate WWII Adventure ‘Paradise Lost’ Shows Gameplay in New Trailer
All in! Games released a new trailer for the PolyAmorous-developed adventure game Paradise Lost, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC-via Steam in 2021.
The trailer finally shows gameplay from the title, where players will play in the first person as they explore various locations. It looks like there won’t be much in the way of combat, but players will need to explore vacated set pieces to progress the narrative.
Paradise Lost is set in a universe where World War II never ended, and 20 years after the beginning, Nazis carried out a nuclear attack, which changed the face of occupied Poland forever. Players assume the role of a 12-year-old boy who discovers a mysterious Nazi bunker while roaming a post-nuclear wasteland.
Evidently, the child has endured a troubled upbringing in this hellish reality and searching for something that he hopes he can find in this wasteland. There’s a past that players will uncover as they explore the areas.
During gameplay, players can explore the underground world in which unique and advanced technology is mixed with Slavic folklore and myths. Players will reveal the past and shape the present as they make decisions while learning about the bunker’s history. The choices that players make will affect what they see on the journey.
