RibCage Games has unveiled a new gameplay trailer for its upcoming rhythm-action roguelike, Alpha Nomos, promoting its Steam Next Fest demo, which will be available between June 15 and June 22, 2026.
In Alpha Nomos, players control Cello, a musician trapped in a world filled with puppets and corrupted music. Using musical instruments as weapons, players must strike enemies in time with the beat to deal more damage.
The game features roguelite elements with randomized power-ups that alter both gameplay and audio. Each run lets players experiment with different builds that shape how attacks sound and feel. Weapon upgrades are based on real musical terminology and influence both the soundtrack and the environment. Ultimately, battles and progression are all tied to rhythm.
