Alone in the Dark Gameplay Event Airs Tomorrow; Promises Story Details and Surprises
THQ Nordic revealed they will host a special presentation for Alone in the Dark. The broadcast will air on on May 25th, at 5:00 PM PST / 8:00 PM EST / 2:00 AM CEST / 1:00 AM BST via YouTube and Twitch.
The “mini-showcase” is dedicated to Alone in the Dark, and the publisher promises they’ll have gameplay details and surprises to share with viewers.
Alone in the Dark is a remake of the original where players must navigate a nightmare through the eyes of two protagonists, Edward Carnby and Emily Hartwood. This is set to be a re-imaging of the classic release with an emphasis on its psychological horror themes.
During gameplay, players will explore various environments, fight monsters, solve puzzles, and uncover the mystery of the Derceto Manor.
The story picks up after Emily Hartwood’s uncle has gone missing. She pairs up with the investigator, Edward Carnby, to investigate the Derceto Manor, a home for the mentally ill. Players will encounter strange residents, nightmarish realms, and dangerous monsters and ultimately uncover the plot of rising evil.
Alone in the Dark is in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC.
We’ll keep you updated on the reveal.
