Alan Wake Remastered Rated for Switch by ESRB
The recently released Alan Wake Remastered for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One Xbox Series X|S, and PC has been rated for the Nintendo Switch by the ESRB. The rating itself doesn’t hold any significant new information or the like. However, since a Nintendo Switch version of the game has not been officially commented on, and it is the only major platform lacking the title, this eventual confirmation will finally make it available on all platforms.
Still, it is very possible that the Switch version of Alan Wake Remastered may be a Cloud Version, so it is best to temper expectations. Personally, I find Cloud versions of games on the Switch to ruin the appeal of playing on that console in the first place since the selling point of portability isn’t feasible when a consistently strong and stable internet connection is required. Regardless, this is all purely speculation.
The original Alan Wake was released on May 14, 2010, for Xbox 360 and then PC. This title is an absolute cult classic that has earned a passionate fanbase, and this re-release has only amplified the community’s size and delight.
Alan Wake Remastered is currently available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One Xbox Series X|S, and PC via the Epic Games Store.
