Aksys Makes 2020 the Year of Otome With Six Titles Releasing in the West

Aksys Games is going all-in with the Otome visual novel community this year as the publisher reveals six titles that are coming west. While some are ports to the Nintendo Switch, the publisher is also bringing brand new visual novels to the west.

Leading the otome train is Code: Realize ~Guardian of Rebirth~, which received a release date of February 6 on Switch. It will be followed up with its sequel Code: Realize ~Future Blessings~ in April. Both games tell the story of Cardia as she sets out in a steampunk version of Victorian England. After a few dark events, she finds herself alone, but thankfully there are some husbandos waiting to help her out, even though she is a relatively stable character.

Next up, we have Collar X Malice and Collar X Malice -Unlimited- coming this summer to Switch. This will be the first time that Collar X Malice -Unlimited- will be available in English and continues the story with additional routes.

Lastly, Piofiore: Fated Memories and Cafe Enchante are coming west at the end of the year. Piofiore: Fated Memories focuses on the adventures of an orphan girl named Lily, who finds herself between Mafia organization in Italy after the First World War. On the other hand, Cafe Enchante tells the story of a young girl who inherits her grandfather’s cafe and discovers that none of the costumers are human.
