Vampire Stripping Action Game ‘Akiba’s Trip: Undead & Undressed Director’s Cut’ Gets August Release Date

XSEED Game announced they will release Akiba’s Trip: Undead & Undressed Director’s Cut on Nintendo Switch on August 1, 2023, for $29.99. The DLC will be available for PS4 and PC for a standalone purchase of $7.99.

A limited physical edition is available on Switch in North America only. This special edition will come with a CD and a set of nine large art cards featuring commemorative illustrations by various Japanese artists.

The publisher confirmed this release will feature a new story route for the Finnish exchange student, otaku, and part-time maid Kati Räikkönen considered the “true ending” for the game. PS4 and PC owners of the original release will also be able to purchase this as a standalone DLC. The Switch version will include this new content.

All DLC from the original release will be included in the Director’s Cut as well, including collaborations with other companies. Owners of the original game on PlayStation 4 and PC will be able to upgrade to the Director’s Cu, depending on if they want the Kati route DLC or the four new costumes from Hellbound & Debriefed.

Akiba’s Trip: Undead & Undressed Director’s Cut was initially released in 2014. The game tells the story of Akiba Freedom Fighters who defend otaku from vampires that roam the streets. To do this, they must strip the vampires to expose them to the sun. The game is fully voiced, which can also be found in the new maid raid for Kati.
