Akiba’s Trip: Undead & Undressed Director’s Cut Announced for PS4, Switch & PC; Includes New Kati Route & All DLC, English Version Teased

Developer Acquire has announced that their cult-classic action-adventure title, Akiba’s Trip: Undead & Undressed, will receive an enhanced release called Akiba’s Trip: Undead & Undressed Director’s Cut.

This launch will include the previously announced Kati Raikkonen route, which has an ending that somehow connects to the future. Additionally, the original story has seen changes to make the Kati route feasible. The route is also described as the “true ending,” but we’re uncertain of how accurate that really is.

All DLC from the original release will be included in the Director’s Cut as well, including collaborations with other companies. Owners of the original game on PlayStation 4 and PC will be able to upgrade to the Director’s Cut, though at ¥1,500 and ¥3,000 costs, depending on if one solely wants the Kati route DLC or that alongside four new costumes from Hellbound & Debriefed.

The title’s Japanese website teases that an English version is in development, as there’s a currently unselectable English tab. Publishers XSEED Games and Marvelous might announce localizations soon.
