Akiba’s Trip: Hellbound & Debriefed Gets PS4, Switch, and PC Release Date in the West
XSEED Games announced they will publish Akiba’s Trip: Hellbound & Debriefed on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC-via Steam on July 20, 2021 in the west.
The publisher also released a new trailer allowing viewers to get a preview of the zany action. Further, this gives you a chance to check out the English voice-over option.
Akiba’s Trip: Hellbound & Debriefed was first shown at E3 2019 and introduced a new vampire-hunting adventure for fans to jump into. During gameplay, players will take advantage of the “Strip action RPG” systems where players can roam the streets of Akihabara circa 2011 and save the otakus. Players will join up with the Akiba Freed Fighters to make the streets safe a expose the plans of vampiric conspiracy.
Akiba’s Trip: Hellbound & Debriefed will feature Dual Audio, with English and Japanese available. During gameplay, players will make choices that can affect the narrative’s flow for a different ending. There are also collectibles around the city for players to spend even more time in the otaku district.
A limited edition is also available for the PS4 and Switch version to celebrate the series’s 10th anniversary. This version will include:
- PS4 or Switch version of Akiba’s Trip: Hellbound & Debriefed
- 60-page Art Book
- Official Soundtrack
The special edition can be purchased for $49.99, but there is also a standalone version for $39.99 available.
