AI: The Somnium Files Gets a PS4 and Switch Demo

Spike Chunsoft has released a PlayStation Store and Nintendo eShop demo (for North America) for the neo-noir detective adventure game AI: The Somnium Filesout now on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC-via Steam.

The demo allows players to experience the first Investigation and Somnium. In addition to the demo, Spike Chunsoft has shared a new Let’s Play video that has the game’s internet idol character, A-set, playing a bit of the game.

AI: The Somnium Files tells the story of detective Kaname Dante who is investigating a mysterious serial killer. Dante investigates these crime scenes by looking over the physical setting as well as peering into dreams to look for clues. One day, Dante arrives at a crime scene and recognizes a woman that he knows from somewhere. He then hears a noise from inside of a merry-go-round and finds a young girl with a bloody ice pick in her hand.

In case you missed it, check out our 10/10 review of the game to find out why we think the game is “The Mystery Adventure of the Year”, and also read our interview with Uchikoshi-san from Anime Expo where he talks about his past works and future plans.

The video we mentioned before is pretty great, to say the least, so give it a watch below:
