AI: The Somnium Files Receives Physical PC Release From Limited Run Games
Limited Run Games revealed that they will be releasing a physical version of Spike Chunsoft’s AI: The Somnium Files on PC.
Titled “Special Agent Edition”, fans of physical media will be able to pick up a physical version of director Uchikoshi’s latest game on PC. The box set is being sold as an open pre-order for a limited time and will not available again. However, the first 500 orders will receive a lanyard that was previously only available at Anime Expo along with a poster. Pre-orders are open now at the Limited Run Games store.
This Limited Edition includes:
- A-set acrylic stand
- Outer box with original artwork by character designer Yusuke Kozaki
- THOUGHTS REMaiN BELOW art book
- REVERIES IN THE RaiN Soundtrack
- A-set’s #1 Fan stickers
- Plastic card containing a code for the game on Steam
AI: The Somnium Files tells the story of detective Kaname Date who is investigating a mysterious serial killer. Dante investigates these crime scenes by looking over the physical setting as well as peering into dreams to look for clues. One day, Dante arrives at a crime scene and recognizes a woman that he knows from somewhere. He then hears a noise from inside of a merry-go-round and finds a young girl with a bloody ice pick in her hand.
AI: The Somnium Files is coming to PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on September 17 in North America and September 19 in Europe.
