AI: The Somnium Files Now Available on Xbox Game Pass

During today’s Tokyo Game Show 2021 Xbox live stream, AI: The Somnium Files was announced to be joining the ever-increasing array of titles available on Xbox Game Pass.

This is a detective thriller written by the legendary Kotaro Uchikoshi, known for his work on the Zero Escape franchise. There is also stellar artwork drawn by Yusuke Kozaki, a prominent artist known for their work on No More Heroes and Fire Emblem. Be sure to check out our review of the title back when it was initially released on PlayStation 4.

Additionally, a sequel was recently announced, titled AI: The Somnium Files – NirvanA Initiative. This title will be releasing for PS4, PS5 Xbox One, Series X|S, Switch, and PC in Spring 2022.

AI: The Somnium Files – nirvanA Initiative shows an event where the right half of a corpse was discovered, but the left half was never found until six years later. However, the body has shown no signs of decay, as though it’s only a day old. New special agent Mizuki and her AI partner Aiba are tasked to solve the Half Body serial killings.

A collector’s edition was revealed and is available for pre-order, too, housing a plethora of enticing content, including an impressive figure of the character Aiba.

The original AI: The Somnium Files is available on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
