Spike Chunsoft and Numskull Games announced that the release of AI: The Somnium Files – nirvanA Initiative will be delayed in Europe until July 8, 2022. The initial release date was set for June 24, 2022.
The publisher shared that the delay was caused by a global shipping slowdown, which will affect the European and Oceania release of the game. This delay will also affect the digital release, which could have been moved to limit spoilers across the region. The publisher added that this was to maintain “parity.”
AI: The Somnium Files – nirvanA Initiative shows an event where the right half of a corpse was discovered, but the left half was never found until six years later. However, the body has shown no signs of decay, as though it’s only a day old. New, special agent Mizuki and her AI partner Aiba are tasked to solve the Half Body serial killings. Kotaro Uchikoshi is confirmed to be the Scenario Writer. Hardcore fans can pre-order the game’s Collector’s Edition, which has a bunch of goodies.
AI: The Somnium Files – nirvanA Initiative is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. on June 24, 2022, in NA, and July 8, 2022, in EU.
