AI: The Somnium Files 3 Seemingly Teased by Director Kotaro Uchikoshi

Recently, director Kotaro Uchikoshi responded to Jackie Lastra, the English voice actress of Iris Sagan, one of the primary characters throughout AI: The Somnium Files and AI: The Somnium Files – nirvanA Initiative. Lastra finished playing the sequel and expressed their praise on Twitter, leading to Uchikoshi replying with the following:

“Thank you so much!! I really had a lot of fun watching some of your charming streaming video and feel like I got a great idea about Iris for the 3rd. Looking forward to hearing your lovely voice and wonderful performance again next time!!”

This tweet obviously doesn’t wholly confirm a guaranteed arrival of a third AI: The Somnium Files game, but Uchikoshi certainly has ideas regarding it. Considering how the second title was only just released, there will likely be a considerable time before a new entry is even officially announced. Still, it’s delightful to know that the director is in the planning stages for its possible launch.

AI: The Somnium Files – nirvanA Initiative shows an event where the right half of a corpse was discovered, but the left half was never found until six years later. However, the body has shown no signs of decay, as though it’s only a day old. New special agent Mizuki and her AI partner Aiba are tasked to solve the Half Body serial killings.
