Retro Action RPG ‘Aggelos’ Gets PS4, Xbox One, and Switch Release Date
Pqube launched a new trailer for the Wonderboy Bobi developed action RPG Aggelos letting fans know that the game will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on April 25.
Originally launching on Steam in 2018, Aggelos takes players back to the 16-bit era of gaming with a more modern control scheme. The game takes inspiration from non-linear Japanese adventures such as Wonder Boy In Monster World. During Aggelos, players will get right up close with the action as they must fight beings from another dimension who are attempting to invade the peaceful Kingdom of Lumen.
Gameplay has players use sword techniques as well as various abilities to take down enemies. There’s also stronger equipment available for the player to help as the difficulty increases. The game features a mainline story but also has side quests that the player can go on.
Currently, Aggelos has a “Very Positive” review score from Steam users who all seem to generally enjoy the game’s visual and controls.

Author’s take: I think the enemy designs in this game are really cute and I can’t wait to play it since I skipped out on it on the PC. There’s just something that feels good about a retro action game with tight controls.
