Action-Puzzle Platformer ‘AeternoBlade II’ Finally Receives Release Details for PS4, Xbox One, and Switch With New Trailer

PQube announced that they will publish the Corecell Technologydeveloped action puzzle platformer AeternoBlade II for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch this fall.

AeternoBlade II was originally announced as a Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita title in 2015 but was later re-announced for consoles in 2017 with the handheld versions of the game being labeled as canceled.

AeternoBlade II allows players to play as three unique characters, including the return of series heroine Freyja along with newcomers Felix and Bernard. Each character is equipped with unique skills and actions that will come in handy as they journey across the dimension to fight against the Dark Abyss, which isn’t the easiest thing to do by any means. Players must return the power of the AeternoBladeto its rightful place or reality will collapse.

Gameplay in AeternoBlade II features moments of puzzle-platforming where players will need to jump and run through environments that might take a bit of though getting through. The game then seamlessly transitions into an action game with battles that allow players to execute combos against enemies as well as use them to get to new areas.
