Adventure Visual Novel ‘YU-NO’ Duplicates Mitsuki in Short Character Trailer
Spike Chunsoft released a new trailer for the Mages developed adventure visual novel YU-NO: A Girl Who Chants Love at the Bound of this World coming to PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on October 1.
The trailer introduces Mitsuki Ichijou again, but this time she tells fans that retailers should be getting in their shipments today. With the game launching in 3 days. Also, the trailer asks how many mini Mitsuki’s pop up during the trailer, we counted 5.
I’m not totally sure if there’s a point to these trailers other than the countdown to release, but they’re fun.
YU-NO tells the story of a love that awaits from beyond this world. The game follows Takuya Arima from Sakaimachi Academy who receives a package from a father he assumed to be deceased. From here, Takuya uses the help of his friends, teachers, and possibly his lovers to figure out the mystery of his father’s legacy that could prevent a calamity that is threatening reality.
The game features multiple routes and timelines that players will be able to revisit through events using a Reflector device. Additionally, players will have to solve all of the mysteries of Sakaimachi if they wish to discover the secret beneath Sword Cape. The visual novel is said to be over 40 hours long.
The publisher previously announced that the Switch and PS4 version will be censored in the west, but the Steam version will be uncensored.
