Adventure RPG ‘Cris Tales’ Delayed to 2021 to Release the Best Version Possible

Modus Games announced that the Dreams Uncorporated and SYCK-developed adventure RPG, Cris Tales, will be delayed from the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC-via Steam November 17 release date until 2021, a PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X release date was also planned.

“The decision to delay was a tough one, but was made to ensure that the developers at Dreams Uncorporated and SYCK have a chance to bring the best version of Cris Tales to fans anxiously awaiting its release,” said Christina Seelye, CEO of Modus Games.

CEO of Dreams Uncorporated and SYCK Carlos Rocha Silva wrote in a statement, “We are a very small video game development studio located in the city of Bucaramanga, Colombia. Cris Tales is the biggest project we have ever worked on, and we want to get it right. As you probably know, most areas and people in the game must be created at least three times, if not more to show the different past, present, and futures. So, in a way, it’s like developing three different video games at the same time. Three video games that must be impeccable so that we can deliver all the magic we have in our soul to all of you. We want to make sure to earn all the love you’ve all shown in our events, demos, previews and so much more.”

Cris Tales features hand-drawn 2D animations, which bring the world of the game to life with a handful of choices to be made that will alter the present and future of the game. Players can also dive into the game’s innovative combat that features a stylish turn-based style battle system where players can execute actions. The developer also added that the game will take around 20 hours to complete.
