Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp Delayed to 2022
Nintendo has announced the release for Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp has been delayed. The game that remakes and bundles the two GBA games (Advance Wars and Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising) was supposed to be available on Switch on December 3, 2021. However, the strategy game will now launch in spring 2022, with the specific date still unknown.
According to Nintendo, the delay will allow the remake developer WayForward to fine tune some aspects of the game that still need some polishing. As the games are being totally remade, it’s very possible that they met some unforeseen bugs, though this is just speculation.
Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp tells the story of Andy, Max, Sami and other Commanding Officers. As a tactical adviser for the Orange Star Army, it’s up to the player to use their powers and special abilities to break through the enemies’ lines.
Besides the story mode for both games, players can also experience Versus Mode battling against other players. Up to four people can play together trying to best the opponents’ tactics. A smart use of powers and positioning will be key to success.
We’ll keep you updated on upcoming Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp news as the game gets closer to launch.
