CFK announced that they will publish an original action-adventure game, QV, in the west on Nintendo Switch for release later this year.
QV is an action-adventure title from Korean developer Izzke. The story follows a girl named Quby, who is destined to protect the balance and harmony between worlds and dimensions. During gameplay, players will be able to assume the role of Quby as she explores ruins of the old worlds and uncovers secrets hidden in the ancient sites.
Players will journey across dimensions and find out more about the ruins through light puzzles, traps, and enemy encounters. In order to combat these obstacles, Quby can create portals, walk on water, and do other magical acts using abilities.
Two characters have been revealed so far. Aside from Quby, there’s a penguin character named Varon, who is from another world. Evidently, he left his world when the balance between dimensions beam unstable. Also, he can’t fly.
The publisher released a teaser trailer for QV, which briefly shows Quby and Varon in a key art image. While the gameplay isn’t shown, they did release some screenshots showing what the ruins will look like.
