Action Roguelite ‘Blade Assault’ Officially Releases Next Week With New Content
Neowiz announced that the Team Suneat-developed action roguelite, Blade Assault, will exit Steam Early Access on January 17, 2021.
In this 1.0 version, players can play through the campaign to the final act, that wasn’t present in the Early Access build. The full launch will include three playable characters, Kil, Jenny, and Darcy, each has their own playstyle and weapon loadout.
There are over 200 different items from Cores to Gears, and Enhanced Weapons to equip the characters with. This update adds 3 new bosses (bringing the total to 7) and the “Ending” of the game, as well as the Friendship System which allows you to make friends and earn rewards from the game’s NPCs.
Blade Assault is a 2D action title set in a sci-fi world after the Red Stone War. Following the assault, the world was divided into three regions, the mutant-infested outside grounds, the Undercity where humans seek refuge from the mutants, and the city of Esperanza, where the rich and powerful rule over everything.
During gameplay, players will fight against Esperanza as they join a resistance force within the Undercity. The goal is to bring the corrupt to justice and become stronger through fighting alongside your comrades.
We’ll be sure to keep you updated on the development and release of Blade Assault. The game is currently scheduled for a full release later in 2021.
