Action Roguelike ‘ENDLESS DUNGEON’ Delayed to October 2023 to Implement Community Feedback

Sega Europe and Amplitude Studios have announced that their upcoming action strategy roguelike, ENDLESS DUNGEON, has been delayed on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam to October 19, 2023. The previous release date was May 18, 2023.

Additionally, the release date for the Nintendo Switch version of the title is currently unconfirmed and will be announced in the near future. The developer also announced that early access to the game will be available on October 17, 2023, for those who pre-order the “Last Wish” Digital Edition.

The studios stated that this delay was to implement community feedback and improve upon “balancing, meta-progression, onboarding, and general polishing.”

The General Manager and CCO of Amplitude Studios, Romain de Waubert, stated the following regarding this delay:

“We’re grateful and honoured that players are looking forward to playing ENDLESS DUNGEON. The feedback we’ve received across our OpenDev sessions so far has proved to us that we truly have something special on our hands and we want to ensure we have time for the game to reach its full potential.
Players have always been at the heart of our studio’s philosophy and releasing ENDLESS DUNGEON in October will allow us the extra time to keep working with the community and polishing the game for an amazing day one experience.
We can’t wait for fans of the Universe and newcomers alike to experience ENDLESS DUNGEON’s unique gameplay combination of rogue-lite, tactical action and tower defense.”
