Tenchu & Akiba’s Trip Developer ‘Acquire’ Announces Game Showcase Next Week

Japanese developer Acquire has announced that they will be hosting their own video game showcase next week on June 5, 2022, at 20:00 JST/ 7 AM EDT/ 4 AM EDT, promoting a variety of updates and upcoming projects. This developer is known for the Tenchu titles, Way of the Samurai, Mind Zero, Akiba’s Trip, and more.

In Akiba’s Trip: Hellbound & Debriefed, players take advantage of the “Strip action RPG” systems where they can roam the streets of Akihabara circa 2011 and save the otakus. Players will join up with the Akiba Freed Fighters to make the streets safe a expose the plans of vampiric conspiracy.

Akiba’s Trip: Hellbound & Debriefed features Dual Audio, with English and Japanese available. During gameplay, players will make choices that can affect the narrative’s flow for a different ending. There are also collectibles around the city for players to spend even more time in the otaku district.

Akiba’s Trip: Hellbound & Debriefed is currently available on PlayStation 4.
