Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown Sells Five Million Units Worldwide

Bandai Namco has announced that their flight-action title, Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, has sold over five million units worldwide. This makes the franchise’s overall sales figures reach over 19 million units overall.

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is set in 2019 after conflict broke loose between the Osean Federation and the Kingdom of Erusea which resulted in the Second Usean Continental War. Players will assume the role of a fighter jet pilot, code-named “trigger,” as he is accused of a crime he didn’t commit.

Various DLC content was released alongside post-launch updates, including an easy mode difficulty.

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
