Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown Gets Classic Aircraft, Weaponry and Easy Difficulty as DLC

Bandai Namco have announced that Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown will be receiving a slew of classic, throwback aircraft and weaponry via DLC.

The CFA-44 “Nosferatu” aircraft receives the ADMM: All Direction Multi-Purpose Missile, EML: Electromagnetic Launcher, and IEWS: Integrated Electronic Warfare System weapon combos.

The XFA-27 receives the SOD: Stand-Off Dispenser, MSTM: Multiple-Launch Standard Missile and IEWS: Integrated Electronic Warfare System weapon combos.

The ASF-X “Shinden II” receives the RKT: Rocket Launcher, LASM: Long-Range Air-to-Ship Missile and 6AAM: 6 Target Air-to-Air Missile weapon combos.

New aircraft skins and emblems are also arriving in this DLC update. This latest DLC package is priced at $12.49 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam. Alternatively, players can pay $4.99 for each aircraft individually if they only desire those items.

A new casual-easy difficulty will also be added as part of a free update. As the name implies, this difficulty level will make the game more accessible for new players to grasp the ins and outs of the mechanics and combat system.

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is a flight action title where players have full 360 degree control and movement. This title’s standard edition is available for $59.99 while the deluxe edition is $84.99.
