Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown Releases New Mission DLC Containing Some Moral Themes

Bandai Namco revealed new DLC for their flight simulation action game Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC-via Steam.

In DLC Mission #6, players will be able to play through the Ten Million Relief Plan, which has them tap into their moral compass. During the mission, players will need to decide whether to allow 1 million lives to be sacrificed to save 10 million lives. It seems that this is one of the emotionally heavier missions in the game and will test the player on their skills.

Additionally, the DLC also introduces a new boss, which a freaking submarine.

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is set in 2019 after conflict broke loose between the Osean Federation and the Kingdom of Erusea which resulted in the Second Usean Continental War. Players will assume the role of a fighter jet pilot, code-named “trigger”, as he is accused of a crime he didn’t commit.

In case you missed it, the publisher previously released the first DLC pack, which includes new aircraft and weapons for players. You can also check out our review of the game where we couldn’t help but love how great the return to of the series looked and played.
