Bandai Namco has announced that Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown has sold seven million units worldwide. The title was confirmed to have sold six million units back in January 2025.
Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is set in 2019 after conflict broke loose between the Osean Federation and the Kingdom of Erusea, resulting in the Second Usean Continental War. Players will assume the role of a fighter jet pilot, code-named “trigger,” as he is accused of a crime he didn’t commit.

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve is in development at Bandai Namco Aces’ Project ACES team, and it is set to launch in 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
