Capcom Aware of Fan Demand for Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth Collection

Capcom Aware of Fan Demand for Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth Collection

Outlet Siliconera recently interviewed the producer of Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy, Kenichi Hashimoto, discussing various facets of the upcoming release.

However, the possibility of an Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth collection was also mentioned. Hashimoto stated that the development team is aware that fans are yearning for such a collection, but there are no announcements at this time.

For those unaware, Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth is comprised of two DS games, the second of which was never localized. With the Apollo Justice Trilogy releasing soon, these two titles will be the only entries not ported on modern platforms if you don’t count the Professor Layton crossover game on 3DS.

For those unaware, the Miles Edgeworth games are spinoffs focusing on the titular prosecutor, Miles Edgeworth, a prominent and fan-favorite character in the original trilogy.

The first game earned moderate praise, not necessarily standing out but still creating a dedicated community. However, its sales, especially in the West, were meager, leading to its sequel never getting localized. The second entry received a fan translation, and it is considered one of the zeniths of the series. Hopefully a collection comes sooner rather than later after the launch of Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy.

The Capcom 40th Anniversary website recently showcased development material from this duology, including concept illustrations and promotional trailers.
