Ace Attorney 20-Year Anniversary Website Has Launched; Japan Events, Upcoming History Section, and More
Capcom has launched the 20-year anniversary website for the Ace Attorney franchise, containing a message from the series’ development team, available merchandise, an upcoming event, and much more. One particular facet of note is the yet-to-be-implemented History section which will dive into the franchise’s past.
I think most fans, I included, are hoping for a new game announcement or a remastered localized port of the Ace Attorney Investigations duology. Still, it is always best to temper your expectations and simply embrace nostalgia, looking back on your memories with these legendary games. Congratulations to Capcom and the Ace Attorney development team for keeping this series going for 2 decades, and here’s to more installments and further success in the future.
The latest Ace Attorney release, The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, is an excellent entry point worthy of being an anniversary title, even if that wasn’t its intended purpose.
If you missed it, be sure to check out our review of The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, as it is one of the few 10s we have ever delivered.
The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles has players assume the role of Ryunosuke Naruhodo, an aspiring Japanese attorney. This character is meant to be an ancestor of Phoenix Wright and will need to solve 10 cases in the late 19th century during Japan’s Meiji Period and England’s Victorian Era. However, he does have the help of his Judicial Assistant Susato Mikatoba, and legendary detective Herlock Sholmes.
The title is available on PlayStation 4, PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch.
