The Strangely Adorable Monster-Taming Roguelite ‘Abomi Nation’ is Coming to Switch and Xbox Later This Month

Dangen Entertainment announced the Orange Pylon Games-developed 3D roguelike monster-taming RPG Abomi Nation is coming to Nintendo Switch and Xbox consoles on September 28, 2023.

Abomi Nation was initially released on PC via Steam, where it holds a positive review standing amongst players.

Carl Pilon of Orange Pylon Games expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming release, saying, “I’m so happy to finally bring fans these console ports of Abomi Nation. It’s such an exciting feeling, and I owe a big thank you to the porting manager at Dangen Entertainment, who helped bring these to life. I’m looking forward to having Nintendo Switch and Xbox players give it a try!”

Abomi Nation features cute monsters and RPG systems. The game’s roguelike elements have every save file creating an original Abomi Nation, which creates a unique world with different Abomis for players to interact with. During gameplay, players can explore the world and battle through turn-based combat.

Abomi Nation features over 100 Abomis to recruit, evolve, and master. No two of these creatures are alike, which creates a unique battle system. However, each creature features abilities that revolve around elemental types (Neutral, Fire, Water, Ice, Plant, Lightning, Air, and Earth). Abomis, at a different time, utilized power and strategy to dominate each other. After becoming civilized, most Abomis tended to forget about their violent history. But now, as a powerful threat emerges, your team will have to rediscover their powers and fight for Abomi Nation’s safety.
