Throughout A Space for the Unbound, players follow protagonists Atma and Raya on their collective journey of self-discovery at the end of their high-school years in rural Indonesia during the late 1990s. However, a myriad of bizarre occurrences begins to take place, altering the state of Atma’s life. Themes such as anxiety and depression are tackled intricately alongside youthful romance.
Players can look forward to an immersive tale boasting qualitative pixel artwork and an emotive soundtrack composed by Masdito “Ittou” Bachtiar. Additionally, townspeople can be conversed with as their life stories and struggles are shared. You can also apparently “dive into people’s minds Inception-style,” whatever that means.
