Focus Home Interactive released a new trailer for the Asobo Studio developed adventure A Plague Tale: Innocence, to show off its 4k UHD enhancement on the upcoming PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions available on July 6, 2021.

Further, the developer confirmed that the cloud version of A Plague Tale: Innocence will launch on Nintendo Switch on the same day.

The next-gen version has been enhanced with 4K UHD resolution at 60 FPS and 3D audio support.

A Plague Tale: Innocence will tell a grim and emotional story that’ll send players on a journey through medieval France in the year 1349 to help characters two lost children, Amicia and Hugo De Rune, survive a harsh, brutal world plagued by the Black Death (also known as the Black Plague, which was one of the most devastating pandemics in human history).

A Plague Tale Requiem has recently been revealed as the sequel to this dark adventure. During gameplay, players will continue on the journey of Amicia and her brother Hugo as they must do whatever it takes to survive in the dark and brutal world.

We’ll keep you updated on the development of A Plague Tale Requiem.
