A Plague Tale: Innocence Details Crafting and Alchemy in Gameplay Overview Trailer

Focus Home Interactive launched a new trailer for the Asobo Studio developed adventure A Plague Tale: Innocence, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on May 14.

The trailer shows an overview of gameplay that players will get to understand during the adventure. Throughout the game, players will encounter challenges that need to be dealt with, yes, this also includes getting around disease-ridden rats. However, players will also be able to use combat in order to get through some sections of the game.

The trailer reveals that Amicia is not alone on this adventure. Her brother Hugo is at her side and uses his small stature to navigate certain areas and help them progress. Additionally, other orphans, who each have a range of different skills such as thievery and alchemy will lend their assistance to help Amicia hide or escape.

A Plague Tale: Innocence will tell a grim and emotional story that’ll send players on a journey through medieval France in the year 1349 to help characters two lost children, Amicia and Hugo De Rune, survive a harsh, brutal world plagued by the Black Death (also known as the Black Plague, which was one of the most devastating pandemics in human history).
