A Clockwork Ley-Line: Daybreak of Remnants Shadow Now Available On PC Via Steam

Publisher Sekai Project has announced that the Unison Shift: Blossom developed A Clockwork Ley-Line: Daybreak of Remnants Shadow, the sequel to 2017’s A Clockwork Ley-Line: The Borderline of Dusk, is now available on PC via Steam. Additionally, a temporary launch discount for the title is currently active, making it 10% off until March 25, 2022. The publisher urges players looking forward to the sequel to play the first entry as it shares characters and storylines. However, for those who have already played the first game and have simply forgotten some details, there is a bonus story that acts as a refresher.

A Clockwork Ley-Line: Daybreak of Remnants Shadow follows Koga Michiru, who is working at the Bureau for the Investigation of Special Affairs with his friends to solve school mysteries and any other issues they encounter. One day, a strange visitor named Adelheid Ritter von Weinberger appears looking for her grandmother’s keepsake; she pushes order after order towards the Bureau, which unravels into a grand mystery.

The game features branching paths based on player input and hour of content. The artwork is from artists Pero and Urabi. This is the second entry of the trilogy, so you can look forward to Flowers Falling in the Morning Mist to release in the future. While all characters are voiced in Japanese, the protagonist remains unvoiced, perhaps because there’s still romance in this entry.
