9-nine-:New Episode Now Available On PC Via Steam; 10% Launch Discount & Series Finale

Publisher Sekai Project has announced that the PALETTE developed 9-nine-:New Episode is now available on PC via Steam. This title is the final entry in the series, featuring after-stories for each heroine. Additionally, a temporary launch discount for the title is currently active, making it 10% off until March 25, 2022.

9-Nine- is a series of supernatural mystery novels that takes place in the town of Shiromitsugawa. Each episode tells the story of a different heroine in a place where mysterious Artifacts give powers to their users, and a series of murders occur. There were a total of four titles, with 9-nine-:Episode 4 offering a finale to the narrative.

The new episode has stories for all the four heroines, which includes Miyako (CV: Fukuen Misato), Haruka (CV: Yamaoka Yuri), Sora (CV: Tanezaki Atsumi), and Noa (CV: Fujita Akane). The main character, a boy, called Kakeru, is voiced by Abe Atsushi.

The story is written by Kazuki Fumi, whose other works include Kimagure Temptation, Nanairo Reincarnation, and the upcoming Café Stella and the Reapers’ Butterflies. Character designs and illustrations were made by Izumi Tsubasu, who also worked on Summer Pockets.

The game includes English, Japanese, and Chinese text, as well as a dual-language display option. This feature was also present in the previous 9-nine- episodes and may be handy for people who are still learning Japanese (or Chinese).
