Murder Mystery Visual Novel ‘9-Nine- Episode 1’ Gets Suprise Western Release Date

Denpasoft announced that they will release the Palette developer supernatural visual novel 9-Nine- Episode 1 on PC-via Steam and Denpasoft on January 31.

9-Nine- Episode 1 is the first volume in a series of visual novels that tell the overarching story of a supernatural mystery. This first entry tells the story of Miyako Kujo, but each entry focuses on a different heroine. The game is set in the town of Shiromitsugawa, where some mysterious Artifacts have been discovered that give the User superpowers. Players will become closer to the heroines throughout the visual novel and unlock the possibility of romance between them. However, they’ll still need to solve the murder mystery and find the culprit behind a series of murders.

It’s good to mention that each game in the series is independent and can be enjoyed out of order.

9-Nine- Episode 2 currently does not have a release date. The game does contain adult content and mild violence.

That last release from developer Palette was 2017’s Saku Saku, which holds a “Very Positive” review standing on Steam.

Author’s take: There are way too many visual novel releases! This one looks super interesting so I’d love to see what the supernatural elements are.
