7 Manga Artists Provide Personal Visions of Atelier Sophie; 5 Now Viewable

The official Japan PR Twitter account for the Atelier franchise has been sharing special artistic pieces illustrated by manga artists. Each artist was asked to provide their own vision of Sophie, with the results varying wildly, making for an appealing set of views. So far, 5 of these illustrations have been shared, with the remaining 2 set to be revealed in the near future.

You can view each of the manga artists’ interpretations of Sophie via the Atelier Sophie 2 Japan website, with respective links to each artists’ Twitter account. Alternatively, you can take a look at the revealed artwork below, except for @okura_yp’s, which consists of custom manga panels.

Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream continues the tale of Sophie and Plachta, who have traveled on many new adventures. After leaving Sophie’s hometown of Kirchen Bell, the two stumble across a tree that Plachta has seen in her dream.

Upon inspection, they are pulled into a vortex, and Sophie wakes up in a world called Erde Widege, where she hears someone who sounds awfully familiar to Plachta. However, it’s not her friend Plachta, but a young alchemist with the same name. I’m sure you can see where this is going.

Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream is now available worldwide on PlayStation 4Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
