3v3 Footbrawler ‘Omega Strikers’ Confirmed for Xbox Release This Month; Features Cross-Play & Cross-Progression

Developer and publisher Odyssey Interactive has announced that their free-to-play cross-platform 3v3 footbrawler, Omega Strikers, will launch for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S alongside the previously confirmed Nintendo Switch, Steam, and mobile platforms on April 27, 2023.

Additionally, the team clarified that cross-play and cross-progression will be available on launch for all platforms.

Throughout this game, boasting over 15 playable characters, players will be able to utilize various skills, all uniquely designed to get the ball to the goal. Further, post-launch support is promised, with seasonal updates, housing new characters, stages, unlockables, cosmetic purchases, and battle passes.

The title’s mascot character, Juliette, is known as the Eager Rookie. One step closer to becoming the champ, her abilities include the Fiery Fist, a short-range medium hit to all nearby enemies, as well as a dashing medium attack known as the Flying Phoenix. Additionally, her special move Flame Flurry hits foes with a flurry of jabs followed by a killer heavy attack.

Her pet, Dubu, also known as the tofu tian, is playable, too. His abilities include Rollout, which launches a projectile that blocks enemies and projectiles in their tracks, as well as a powerful stun-dash known as the Sommerassault. Dubu’s special move Tofu Fortress creates barricades and allows him to strategically alter the arena in his favor.
